Younger generations on the Right have been keenly focused on questioning the Post-War Consensus. This is a mélange of caricatured Reaganism mixed with an insatiable hunger for using military power around the globe, all under an ethic of hyper-creedalism. The Left and a number of those who mistakenly think they’re on the Right talk as though squadrons of Nazis are just over the horizon and see no daylight between modern-day Russia and the Soviet Union.
